Description

User story

right now, we only have two scenarios running on powerVM (ssh-x and textmode). We want to increase the coverage here.
This even means we might drop some of the cases on powerKVM or better transfer it to powerVM

this ticket follows a call with Diego, Marita, Rodion and Matthias, where we want to figure out which scenarios makes sense and with what we wanna start

Suggestions

  • Use Test Development job group and start with enabling identified scenarios listed below:

    • allpatterns
    • btrfs
    • xfs
    • ext4

right now those tests are enabled in test development: https://openqa.suse.de/tests/overview?arch=&modules=bootloader&modules_result=failed&distri=sle&version=12-SP5&build=0242&groupid=132#

all are failing because our default, VNC can nonet be used for installation - therefore created subtask #54689

removed mediacheck - since it makes no sense, because we already test the medium of ppc (it's identical with KVM one)
