Description

The goal of this module is to reconnect the console after the system is booted/rebooted on remote backends.

Tasks

  1. Figure out the steps in which the console has to be disconnected and reconnected again
    • Restart before or after disconnect?
    • At which point should the console be reconnected
  2. Merge reboot_after_installation and reconnect_mgmt_console
  3. reboot_after_installation will always leave for a following module a known system state that doesn't change over time. (grub menu? login screen?)

One hint I discussed with the Yast team because it is strange in the tests. The ssh port has been opened, but the ssh service is disabled. installation_overview is the reason for a failed reconnect_management_console test.
