Description

Observation

The test reconnect_management_console is failing because of ssh has been blocked. That is a result of
openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-DVD-s390x-gpt@s390x-zVM-vswitch-l2 in
installation_overview

The ssh port has been opened, but the ssh service is disabled. The ssh service has to be enabled for a working ssh connection.

We also need to crosscheck if this is expected that ssh is disabled by default for the remote vnc installation and on top why opening ssh port is not affecting ssh service.

Test suite description

Reproducible

Fails since (at least) Build 20210127

Expected result

SSH should work in the reconnect_management_console test. Therefore, the installation_overview test has to be expanded with the ssh service enablement.

I have created a needle for ssh-service-disabled in installation_overview.

Hi Sarah, as mentioned in the email, I have moved gpt test suite to the development job group: https://openqa.opensuse.org/group_overview/38
In the next builds (snapshots) the job will appear there.

There was a failed test for openSUSE Tumbleweed on s390x, which should be available.

Hi, Sarah! Not sure what you are trying to say, but the PR from my previous comment fixes the issue described in this ticket. Unfortunately, there is a bug (https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1185107) which prevents test from being green. But ssh is available in the SUT and it's possible to e.g. collect logs.
