- Priority changed from Normal to High
Retriggered tests within the same snapshot show this problem again, e.g. https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1171956 . I am not aware of recent gnome related changes that can explain it. But dimstar found out that ftp.suse.com is currently not reachable. It is highly unintuitive that the test relies on ftp.suse.com but doesn't check that as prerequisite. Probably better to only rely on an ftp server spawned within the same VM.

The current issue that ftp.suse.com is not reachable I have recorded in https://sd.suse.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/SD-1671 . This has no impact on my suggestions how the test could be improved.

- Subject changed from [desktop][sporadic] test fails in nautilus_open_ftp, ftp authentication dialog does not show up, auto_review:"match=nautilus-ftp-login timed out"+retrigger to [desktop][sporadic] test fails in nautilus_open_ftp, ftp authentication dialog does not show up, auto_review:"match=nautilus-ftp-login timed out":retry
Decided for ":retry" as automatic retriggering keyword in auto-review: https://github.com/os-autoinst/scripts/commit/e7dd9f9fc15d825a34b06421ff068cacf37c7a37

Oli, nobody has picke-up the ticket and I can see that you have added the retrigger functionality. Anything else to do here or could we cloe the ticket?
Updated by okurz over 3 years ago
The automatic retriggering will only work as long as the ticket is open as in the end the test code itself should be improved to fix it for good
