Description

HDD_1_URL is not used on o3 test when set in a test suite definition.
Maybe a problem with the cache management?

hm, I do not yet understand what's going on but that seemed to work just fine in the previous jobs so something changed?

I want to see how it looks when I retrigger: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1046423

EDIT: Fails the same. Download path need to match whitelisted domains but it is download.opensuse.org so this should work. Trying it out locally the download of the asset succeeded: http://lord.arch.suse.de/tests/2644# . Logging for the actual download event is near to non-existing now though. The only reference is in the log for openqa-gru Oct 02 15:22:33 lord openqa[19334]: [debug] Process 4703 is performing job "1513" with task "download_asset". So I can find http://lord.arch.suse.de/minion/jobs?id=1513 and also https://openqa.opensuse.org/minion/jobs?state=finished&task=download_asset shows that other download tasks work though, e.g. https://openqa.opensuse.org/minion/jobs?id=94843

I know that the feedback from openQA isn't straight forward but this should allow you to debug further what makes other tasks succeed but fails yours.

The verification run for the PR did pass properly: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1036738
So, openQA seems to behave differently when the job is created from a clone script, or generated from openQA.

Is there any reason to not set this job to work like the ones we have for the functional team? (rsync copies the needed files to the webui?)

It is not to test image from current snapshot, but to test upgrade from current released version with snapshot repos. So, latest openSUSE-Tumbleweed-JeOS.x86_64.qcow2 must always be downloaded.

It seems like the URL was wrong, I fixed that.
I also added %BUILD% to HDD_1(_URL) so that the asset cache is used properly. This appears to work currently.

Unfortunately https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1173162#next_previous disagrees. The scenario shows reproducible incompletes with no success.

removed from https://openqa.opensuse.org/admin/job_templates/38 as it never worked so far:
