Description

Observation

openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-DVD-aarch64-gnome-ext4@aarch64 fails in
xorg_vt

Test suite description

Reproducible

Fails since (at least) Build 20190602

Expected result

Last good: 20190601 (or more recent)

Further details

Always latest result in this scenario: latest

In xorg_vt, we have some problems with mistyping, e.g.:
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/994540#step/xorg_vt/3
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/994524#step/xorg_vt/1

Maybe due to additional load induced by previous module which trigger a snapshot save?
We may use a slower typing in this module?

Also happen on other modules, such as sshfs: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1028004#step/sshfs/2

This is an autogenerated message for openQA integration by the openqa_review script:

This bug is still referenced in a failing openQA test: gnome
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1053223

To prevent further reminder comments one of the following options should be followed:

  1. The test scenario is fixed by applying the bug fix to the tested product or the test is adjusted
  2. The openQA job group is moved to "Released"
  3. The label in the openQA scenario is removed

Still happen: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1068421#step/x_vt/4

We may try to type slowly in this module.

https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst/pull/1260 has improved things a lot, at least on aarch64, but vlc mistyping remains.

The ticket will be set to the next lower priority of "Normal".

This ticket is still valid.

One occurrence: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/2180824#step/zypper_ar/2 is missing the last character of the repo address which leads to a failure later: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/2180824#step/zypper_ref/73
