Description
Request a database dump and the current configuration of the openSUSE services that are currently running in Provo (wiki, forum, lizard, news, ). Without this, a painless migration is not really realistic. So this has a high priority...
Two details for the wiki:
- there is a "secret" ;-) file /srv/settings/wiki_settings.php. I don't want/need the database password, but I need at least an "anonymized" version of it (without database password etc.) to know which settings it does
- the wiki search is done by lucene (running on a different server) - please also get the config for it
- Due date changed from 2016-07-31 to 2016-07-17
due to changes in a related task
I"ve met with Jared Nyland, and we've discussed the DB dump. When we want it, he will provide it. I've added Jared to this ticket for him to participate in this process.
[I'm only talking about the wiki in this comment.]
We need the database dump and the uploaded files twice:
a) now - to be able to test the upgrade etc.
b) when we officially do the upgrade
For testing the upgrade, it doesn't really matter if the dump is done today or next week, so better do it today ;-) (the database dump and the uploaded files of the english wiki are enough for testing the upgrade)
Also, please don't forget the config files I mentioned in comment #1 so that I don't need to guess and/or re-invent the wheel.
BTW: How will the dump and the files find their way to me? Note that I'm not inside the SUSE network ;-)
The wiki migration is done, but the ticket description mentions some openSUSE services that are currently running in Provo (forum, lizard, news, ).
