Observation¶

openQA test in scenario sle-15-SP3-Online-ppc64le-transactional_server_snapper@ppc64le-hmc-single-disk fails in
verify_undelete_snapshots

We have dependency between both scenario, so one the first fails (it always run alphabetically in that order by design) then the other does not run correctly with the snapshots that finds.

Acceptance Criteria:¶

1. transactional_server_snapper is not failing on 'verify_undelete_snapshots'.

Suggestions:¶

1. Make verify_undelete_snapshots not to be dependent on exact amount of snapshots or clear snapshots at some stage, so that the amount of them will be predictable.
2. Alternatively, split 'transactional_server_helper_apps' and 'transactional_server_snapper' to two different installations (to not depend on each other).

Test snapper features in a transactional update server

We need to make stable the test regarding the number of snapshots.

Reproducible¶

Fails since (at least) Build 186.1 (current job)

Expected result¶

Last good: 183.1 (or more recent)
