[opensuse][qe-core] gnome_documents: no longer existing in Tumbleweed -> unschedule
Added by dimstar about 3 years ago.

Category:
Bugs in existing tests
Description
Observation¶
openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-desktopapps-other@64bit fails in
gnome_documents
gnome-documents has been EOL since GNOME 3.34,w ith GNOME 40 it is now definitively gone.
We should thus stop scheduling this test on Tumbleweed (and SLE16+ based systems)
Test suite description¶
Maintainer: Yuan Ren (yuanren10). See https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/23906
Reproducible¶
Fails since (at least) Build 20201009
Expected result¶
Last good: 20200924 (or more recent)
Further details¶
Always latest result in this scenario: latest
This is an autogenerated message for openQA integration by the openqa_review script:
This bug is still referenced in a failing openQA test: desktopapps-other
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1688750
To prevent further reminder comments one of the following options should be followed:
- The test scenario is fixed by applying the bug fix to the tested product or the test is adjusted
- The openQA job group is moved to "Released"
- The label in the openQA scenario is removed
- Subject changed from gnome_documents: no longer existing in Tumbleweed to [opensuse][qe-core] gnome_documents: no longer existing in Tumbleweed -> unschedule
- Start date deleted (
2021-03-23)
- Status changed from New to Workable
- Status changed from Workable to Rejected
indeed; I managed to resurrect -documents in a, for now, working fashion.
It's still version 3.34 (in GNOME 40) - so its survival is probably a question of time. For now: let's keep the test.

The last message shows that something is still missing to be done if the progress ticket is referenced in a soft-failing job or as a job label
- Status changed from Workable to Resolved
