Observation¶
I've seen this happening on KDE and GNOME installations, but mostly with the virtio graphics driver (used for the wayland tests. But since this is only the installer, wayland is not yet in use: installer always runs in a default X session)

I can confirm this - all tests with virtio are completely broken.

After we are encountering this the same in the Krypton Wayland test reproducibly I set the "Blocker" flag on the bug.

My PR https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse/pull/7703 for https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1135865 fixed this. Bug is VERIFIED FIXED as well now. https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/963848#step/system_prepare/9 shows the previously failing step successfully passed. https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/962968 is in the originally failing scenario, soft-failed now.
