[functional][y][opensuse] test separate home for TW and leap 15.1
Added by RBrownSUSE over 5 years ago.
Updated about 5 years ago.
Target version:
SUSE QA - Milestone 23
Description
Motivation¶
Now that "no separate home" is the default behavior in Leap 15.1 and Tumbleweed, the minimalx+btrfs+nosephome scenario currently used in those products is redundant
However, we need coverage to check the inverse, that separate /home partitions works nicely
The current toggle_home tests only toggle from ON to OFF, the test likely needs to be adapted to properly test the new behavior (as well as the old, where appropriate)
As of now SLE behavior remains same.
Acceptance criteria¶
- New test which enables separate home and validates that separate partition is created
- Tests which disable separate home are still enabled for relevant distributions
- Tests which disable separate home are disabled for TW and Leap 15.1
- Subject changed from minimalx+btrfs+nosephome is redundant, a "sephome" test is needed to [functional][y][opensuse] test separate home for TW and leap 15.1
