Observation¶

openQA test in scenario sle-12-SP4-Server-DVD-x86_64-default@64bit-ipmi fails in
boot_from_pxe

Reproducible¶

Fails since (at least) Build 0235

Expected result¶

Previous job in same build was fine: https://openqa.suse.de/tests/1822939

Problem¶

We had bsc#1078770 about just the same, was never fixed and most likely we need to investigate further on our side before we have any hope to receive help in the bug.

Suggestions¶

Find out failure ratio
Talk to linuxrc experts from SysMgmt team, I mean "YaST"!, about how we can see where the installation system is stuck
Think about a workaround if it happens not that often
