Observation¶
openQA test in scenario sle-15-SP3-Server-DVD-Updates-x86_64-qam-wicked_basic_sut@64bit fails in
t01_basic
Test suite description¶
Testsuite maintained at https://gitlab.suse.de/qa-maintenance/qam-openqa-yml.
After ifup eth0 device stays in setup-in-progres state. Seemingly, this might be the reason that the interface has no ipv4 assigned, therefore ping command is failing https://openqa.suse.de/tests/11605669#step/t01_basic/354.
Not really sure whether the wicked-0.6.73 update is really the culprit as it has worked as few days ago it has worked https://openqa.suse.de/tests/11570727#.
However, running the same test against 12sp5 without the wicked update does not show the symptom any more.

Last good: 20230713-1 (or more recent)

the t10_peerip_and_static_route seems to be the result of https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse/pull/17372

We are also seeing something like this in SAP/HA tests:

It never gets a ip address and the test fails.
I checked worker9 and gre tunnels appears to be there (at least now), unlike poo#132827
