Testing the software selection during installer
Added by RBrownSUSE over 8 years ago.

Description
We don't use that part during normal openQA operation, so it would be good to have a specific test that does not actually finish installation, but just goes into detailed software selection and manipluates the software selection and then checks e.g. conflicts are readable and things similiar. Also useful to avoid theming issues like boo#950283

Isn't that covered in "allpatterns" test? Is it necessary to have a test suite which exits (successfully) on the installation summary just before doing the actual installation? This also came up with Gabi and cwh as they want to test hostname during installation so no full installation is necessary.

to answer the question in #2: we don't verify conflicts in allpatterns.
created bug, grub2 package is not unselected first time but second then installation is blocked as expected.
