Description
Observation¶
openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-extra_tests_gnome@64bit fails in
hwsim_wpa2_enterprise_setup
hostapd seems to be configured by openQA, but the config in the end seems invalid (certificates)

I somewhat presume this to be an issue on openQA and the config it declares - but this could very well also turn out to be a product bug

Test hwsim_wpa2_enterprise_setup is working in latest builds. In my opinion, issue is in NM_wpa2_enterprise test case.
Even in latest and reproducible test result also has NM_wpa2_enterprise failure. should we close this and create a new progress ticket on NM_wpa2_enterprise?
Updated by tjyrinki_suse over 3 years ago
Sounds good. It seems the error was last seen hwsim_wpa2_enterprise_setup on 20210504, then fixed and there's a now visible problem with NM_wpa2_enterprise on 20210505 and there onwards.

- Status changed from Workable to Rejected
New ticket is created https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/93644 to track on test NM_wpa2_enterprise and rejecting this ticket, as the issue is not seen on the latest builds.

I suggest to be careful with such approach of closing a ticket and creating a new one without any relation. The original ticket can provide useful context. Also keep in mind that tickets can be updated including the subject and description – unlike in bugzilla where commonly the description (the first comment) can not be updated after ticket creation.
