Observation

The isotovideo shutdown is far from speedy, e.g. see

This is from a manual isotovideo run.

6s just to kill some processes. I think we can still improve this. Also the "Unexpected end of data 0" isn't that nice. The "end of data" should very much be expected when the processes are asked to shutdown :)
