[functional][u] Weechat test pollute root console and make next test (nano) fail
Added by ggardet_arm almost 5 years ago.
Updated over 4 years ago.
Description
Observation¶
openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-DVD-aarch64-extra_tests_in_textmode@aarch64 fails in
nano
Test suite description¶
Maintainer: okurz@suse.de
Mainly console extratest.
Suggestions¶
- Use $search_engine to figure out where this output comes from. Since weechat runs in user-console, we need to figure out what's leaving that output in the root-console from time to time
- Propose a solution
note¶
This is a research ticket first, we solve it on a second round.
Reproducible¶
Fails since (at least) Build 20190711
Expected result¶
Last good: 20190708 (or more recent)
Further details¶
Always latest result in this scenario: latest
- Subject changed from Weechat test pollute root console and make test fails in next test, nano to Weechat test pollute root console and make next test (nano) fail

- Priority changed from Normal to High
Let's leave it open for the time being, not enough information really to see what's going on or what (But certainly its really sporadic)
- Description updated (diff)
- Category changed from Bugs in existing tests to Spike/Research
- Status changed from New to Workable
- Priority changed from High to Normal
- Description updated (diff)
- Status changed from Workable to In Progress
- Assignee set to dheidler
That actually only happened once.
The debug message seems to come from SSH - but I don't see why it should appear in that terminal.
- Status changed from In Progress to Feedback
- Status changed from Feedback to Resolved
It didn't happen again in 30 tests so I guess we should just close this one.
- Related to action #63083: [functional][u] test fails in lshw because of traces from previous test on root console added
