The test has

     # Create a new folder
     send_key 'f10';
     type_string 'stuff';

i.e. it starts to type immediately after the "New folder" hotkey.

Shouldn't there be a match for the dialog window first?

I think this can be considered solved after gh#7719 had been merged, afterwards I could not spot a single failure in the dolphin module.
