Observation

Test incomplete because of missing qcow2 for 64bit machine (non-2G).

Acceptance criteria

  • AC1: The scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-NET-x86_64-update_Leap_42.3_cryptlvm@64bit passes of soft-fail.
  • AC2: The scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-NET-x86_64-update_Leap_42.3_cryptlvm@64bit is moved to the main job group
  • AC3: The scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-NET-x86_64-update_Leap_42.3_cryptlvm@64bit-2G is removed from the main job group.

  • In scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-NET-x86_64-update_Leap_42.3_cryptlvm@64bit
  • Incomplete since Build 20190521

from our discussion on #opensuse-factory:

the scenario was added to the validation job group but never worked within the past months. The used hdd asset opensuse-42.3-x86_64-GM-cryptlvm@64bit.qcow2 does not exist on o3 however opensuse-42.3-x86_64-GM-cryptlvm@64bit-2G.qcow2 does exist in the non-fixed hdd asset path.

My suggestion:

  • move opensuse-42.3-x86_64-GM-cryptlvm@64bit-2G.qcow2 to fixed/
  • hardlink to opensuse-42.3-x86_64-GM-cryptlvm@64bit.qcow2
  • check that the scenario …@64bit works fine
  • add/move scenario to validation job group
  • crosscheck, e.g. using http://openqa.opensuse.org/admin/assets , if scenarios still rely on it
  • cleanup the 64bit-2G variant if not needed anymore

@SLindoMansilla in #40052#note-34 you mentioned "I cannot find any 64bit-2G scheduled job for upgrade scenarios", maybe the scenarios have somehow magically "reappeared"? Maybe related to the yaml schedule part thingy? Dunno

I just realized I forgot to enable the NET@64bit scenario.
