[functional][y] due to extreme slowness, fail to select disk partitioning_raid
Added by riafarov over 5 years ago.
Updated almost 5 years ago.
Category:
Bugs in existing tests
Target version:
SUSE QA - Milestone 22
Description
Observation¶
We select correct disk in the tree, but the right side of the UI is not yet updated. Therefore, needle fails. We also would fail to select tab when proceeding further.
We could simply increase timeout between steps, so that we have higher changes, that UI reflects it.
openQA test in scenario sle-15-SP1-Installer-DVD-x86_64-lvm+RAID1@svirt-hyperv-uefi fails in
partitioning_raid
Reproducible¶
Fails since (at least) Build 104.1 (current job)
Expected result¶
Last good: 102.1 (or more recent)
Further details¶
Always latest result in this scenario: latest
- Target version set to Milestone 22
- Estimated time set to 3.00 h
- Due date changed from 2018-12-18 to 2019-01-15
- Due date changed from 2019-01-15 to 2019-01-29
- Status changed from Workable to In Progress
- Assignee set to oorlov
For the moment I don't really know what exactly should be fixed, as the module fails every time on different steps. It seems like the fail, that is mentioned in the description, occurred only once.
If it is so, then the problem is more complex, then just fail on one step due to slowness of the system.
Will discuss the details with riafarov.
- Status changed from In Progress to Resolved
Discussed with riafarov. As it failed only once on the step from the description, it was decided to close the ticket, as it is not reproducible.
- Status changed from Resolved to Rejected
So it's "Rejected" then, right? To denote that we did not really fix the issue but deemed it unworthy for fix.
We could trigger more tests on that platform if you like.
