Description

Observation

When a test fails in the first_boot module, and there are no users logged in yet, we still try to press esc key to see if there's the possibility that "something" is hidden by the bootloader, but this is simply a blind attempt.

openQA test in scenario sle-15-SP1-Installer-DVD-aarch64-create_hdd_gnome@aarch64 fails in
first_boot

Reproducible

Fails since (at least) Build 102.1 (current job)

Expected result

Last good: 101.2 (or more recent)

Suggestions

  • Keep the escape
  • Try to switch to root console and try to log in (Ensure we can clean the line, just in case [^ is found)
  • If switching to the root console didn't work, switch to tty 1 and try to log in there...

Further details

Always latest result in this scenario: latest
