Category:
Bugs in existing tests
Description
If we really want to test it, we must make sure the Toolchain module existed after zdup migration.
Observation¶
openQA test in scenario sle-12-SP4-Server-DVD-Post-aarch64-om_proxyscc_sles12sp3_+alladdons+all_patterns_fullupdate_by_zdup_aarch64@aarch64 fails in
zypper_lifecycle_toolchain
Reproducible¶
Fails since (at least) Build 0421
Expected result¶
Last good: (unknown) (or more recent)
Further details¶
Always latest result in this scenario: latest
- Status changed from New to In Progress
Offline testcases will de-register SCC before migration and won't register SCC on migration. To test toolchain in regression test, need set SCC_REGISTER=installation to register SCC on migration.
- Status changed from In Progress to Resolved
- % Done changed from 0 to 100
- Related to action #43166: [functional][y] test fails in zypper_lifecycle_toolchain - expiration date of gcc7 changed , can we make the test more resilient? added
- Related to action #42419: [qam] test fails in zypper_lifecycle_toolchain - needs adaption for gcc8 added

- Status changed from In Progress to Resolved
The Toolchain repo is not unpacked by openqa and zdup online migration is not important method. System is de-registered on patch_sle, if this issue still happened, we need add registration during zdup. currently, we can set INSTALLONLY=1 as workaround.
