Description

openSUSE Maintenance team request that OpenQA test for openSUSE Leap 15.0 and later be extended to cover base functionality of transactional server: installation, update, reboot,

The background is a regression in a zypper/libzypp that prevented some zypper operation on transactional server: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1108999

Richard said that "the correct test would be something akin to https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/758610 with a subset of the tests in the 'caasp' group from https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/758436"

  • Subject changed from add transactional server regression tests to Leap 15.0+ test suite to [qam] add transactional server regression tests to Leap 15.0+ test suite
  • Category changed from Enhancement to existing tests to New test

Setting to "New test" as it is an extension of test coverage and not an enhancement to already existing test even though of course we do have tests for this functionality in other products. So, can we ask [qam] here?
