Observation¶
openQA test in scenario sle-15-Installer-DVD-x86_64-we-module@64bit-virtio-vga fails in
rhythmbox
see https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1078704 as reference
probably the test needs to be adjusted to test gnome-music or also dropped completely
Tasks¶
- Adapt scheduling of tests to replace rhythmbox with gnome-music
- check if existing testsuite tests/x11/gnome_music.pm is still working and can be reused
Acceptance criteria¶
- AC1: rhythmbox test is replaced completely by gnome-music for SLE and openSUSE
- AC2: cleanup rhythmbox module from the testrepo (if not used in other places)

@mgriessmeier you keep referencing "[sles]" what should be "[sle]" because we care about the "[sle]" functional base regardless of the product.

Issue will be resolved from gnome-music version 3.28.0.
Currently available version is 3.26.2 in build 509.1
gnome-music 3.26.2 still available in build 513.1.

Issue is fixed in gnome-music 3.28.0. We are expecting 3.28, not 3.26 which contains the bug. I have not updated comment #14 by my self. Do you know who has updated it ? It is not a good practice and it creates confusion.

I don't think there will be an update to 3.28.0 for SLE15 unless you know another bug or SR that has this?
