Description

User story

As an openSUSE tester, I want that the openQA test module partitioning_filesystem, to not need to test it on ncurses manually.

Acceptance criteria

  • AC1: The test module partitioning_filesystem is adapted to work on ncurses SUT and graphic SUT.
  • AC2: The test module partitioning_filesystem can run on testsuite textmode for openSUSE distributions.

Tasks

  1. Change/adapt all ocurrences of assert_and_click to assert_screen + send_key(<hotkey>)
  2. Verify on local run for test suite: textmode
    • openSUSE Tumbleweed
    • openSUSE Leap 15
    • SLE 15
    • SLE 12-SP3
  3. Load the module partitioning_filesystem into the testsuite textmode on OSD
  4. Load the module partitioning_filesystem into the testsuite textmode on O3
  5. Verify on OSD
  6. Verify on O3

Currently blocked by PPC64le and s390x verfication and also somehow does not work with Ext3 on GUI installations.
I would propose to split this, merge what we have and fix and verify the other parts next sprint

https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/584220#step/partitioning_filesystem/4 -> missing needle it seems; what area was the needle supposed to validate? Just the 'changed color' of 'BtrFS', indicating the drop down is active?

iso of Build101.1 no more available. Cannot reproduce with that build.

Last build passes: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/589241#step/partitioning_filesystem/10

So, I assumed the problem was a different issue. Looking at the test results it looks more like a performance issue. The o3 workers were update/fix recently, so they should have solved that issue too.
