openQA test in scenario sle-15-Installer-DVD-x86_64-cryptlvm@64bit fails in
reboot_gnome
looking for grub2 but halting on the password prompt before grub2 which is actually bsc#1067479
Reproducible¶
Always in this scenario on SLE15
Expected result¶
Last good: SLE 12 SP3 GM
Acceptance criteria¶
- AC1: The password prompt is handled gracefully (bug fixed or worked around)
Tasks¶
- Research how currently the grub2 password prompt is handled in other test modules, e.g. "grub_test" before "first_boot" (0.5-2h)
- Adapt reboot_gnome to use the same approach but DRY (1-6h)
- If necessary: Use record_soft_failure to track the existing bug mentioned above unless it's already fixed at the time (0.2-0.5h)

no real bug fix, just gnome behaves better. Now blocked in bug https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1067479
