Description
Observation¶
openQA test in scenario openqa-Tumbleweed-dev-x86_64-openqa_from_bootstrap@64bit-2G fails in
search
as search results don't show up
Reproducible¶
Failed already in https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/4734586#step/search/3 so at least two times
Expected result¶
Last good: :TW.34206 (or more recent)
Further details¶
Always latest result in this scenario: latest
Suggestions¶
- No text in the search field? Nothing was typed.
- Maybe a race condition with focus or typing?
- Only occurred once so far

Not sure why this is high priority. openqa_from_bootstrap:investigate:retry: t#4785174 and openqa_from_bootstrap:investigate:last_good_build::TW.34206 t#4785175 pass. Seems like a glitch to the needle. From logs is checking only search-openqa-search-results-20220328 but not search-openqa-search-results-20250117. Maybe we have ust to delete old needles?

because this is a regression in our CI pipelines that we need to consider as very stable and reliable and so far no mitigation exists. The workaround is obviously to retrigger jobs but as long as that is not done automatically the priority of the ticket must be higher than "Normal"
