Observation¶

openQA test in scenario sle-12-SP3-Server-DVD-x86_64-toolchain_zypper@64bit-smp fails in

osd (crash) Fails because script run timed out "echo exit | crash ls -1t /var/crash/*/vmcore | head -n1 /boot/vmlinux-uname -r$suffix"

o3 (crash) Fails because of missing needle 'grub2', that happens because the SUT boots on "emergency mode"

Problem¶

H1 The command script_run "echo c > /proc/sysrq-trigger", 0; does not work because of the missing file "crash.ko".
The file "crash.ko" is missing because it is not installed with the package "crash".
It is not installed because of a build failure for kernel 4.10.1-2.1.
