User story¶

As a test/needle maintainer for multiple products/versions in one repo/server I want to add needle tags which are excluded based on current use of needles to make tests only use needles which are relevant

acceptance criteria¶

• AC1: there is a way to find needles that are only used in a subset of tests, e.g. use https://openqa.opensuse.org/admin/needles to find needles only used in Leap 42.1 Maintenance which miss the tag ENV-LEAP-1 and ENV-VERSION-42.1 (or ENV-VERSION-421?)
• AC2: there is a way to add corresponding tags to the needles found in AC1

tasks¶

• learn what openQA/script/modify_needle does and can do
• should be extension of /admin/needles or external tool
• teach users
• optional: Implement workflow to use the new approach for cleaning up on a regular basis for openSUSE/SUSE
