Motivation

For release of ALP in March we should perform some manual testing for ALP Bedrock and ALP Micro with D-Installer.

Clarifications are needed: latest "standard build" from head repo don't have bedrock (yet ?) as option. On the other hand Bedrock builds can be found here but they don't include (yet ?) D-installer. So it's not clear which image should be tested.
Maybe standard 0.8.1 d-installer standard build will include bedrock, and should arrive next week.

In March prototype will be included support for iscsi and auto-installation. Please take a look to both.

On latest build d-installer-live.x86_64-ALP.iso( https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/SUSE:/ALP:/Products:/Installer:/0.8/images/iso/d-installer-live.s390x-ALP.iso) :

  1. Set new user and password(auto login selected): after installation the username and password verified, but no auto-login.
  2. During installation, one package can't be found, skip and installation hasn't been affected. pic attached.
  3. For localization, some languages show as a mess.
  4. For iscsi, there is no iscsi device shown, maybe need have some known iscsi device for the test.
  5. For software section, nothing can be set, only show number of packages.
  6. D-installer auto installation manually test, it works just interactive test with typing characters very slowly via cockpit console.

Tested the dinstaller cli:

  1. Check the setting can be in output and redirect to file, dinstaller config show : ok.
  2. Check can import from the exported file, update the file to change setting such as user name and password, dinstaller config load: ok
  3. Check argument of language, dinstaller language: haven't implement.
  4. Check other cmd such as config, info, probe, install, profile, help, all works except the dinstaller info attached the picture for failure.
