Description
Dear admins,
I want to blog about openSUSE related things so I need a
lizards.opensuse.org account.
According to [1], a mail is the way to do this. Can you create the
account? My openSUSE account name is tbechtold.

Hi Tom,
in the meantime, Theo volunteered to maintain lizards (and I offered to help if we get rid of wordpress), so it will not vanish :-) and you should get an account there.
However, it's still hosted in Provo which makes it hard for us to get anything done. It will probably take some time until you get your lizards account. So if you want/need a blog now, it might be a good idea to look for a different solution ;-)
(I'm CC'ing Matthew - from what I found, he might have permissions to create your account.)
BTW: Once your blog (lizards or otherwise) is ready, you might want to have it included on planet.opensuse.org. You can get this done by a pull request to https://github.com/opensuse/planet.opensuse.org or by opening a new ticket.here.

What is the status now with lizards ?
We might consider to simply point the DNS entry to your new blog software, once it is ready, if you can't get anyone from the former folks in Provo to help you with it.
...or finally declare the service as deprecated and shut it down?

I'm new to wordpress, but unless I did something wrong ;-) you should be able to login on lizards.opensuse.org now ;-) (Feedback if everything works would be welcome ;-)
Note that the "Backend" link (pointing to /backend/) doesn't work to get to the backend. Instead, you can use the "Howdy, tbechthold" link in the top-right corner, or the "+ New" link in the top bar to get to the wordpress backend.
Do you also want to have your lizards blog added on planet.opensuse.org?
