Description
Motivation¶
See the original #110797 for context.
Ideas¶
I have two suggestions:
- Use post_fail_hooks to fail the test and then record zypper logs instead of the confusing record_info which fails but does not stop the job, then continues and eventually fails the job
- Make it clear in the "die" message that very likely a product issue is not encountered (and no test issue exists)
- Copied from action #110797: [qe-core] test fails in update_install added

You mean #113531? But this does not mention the two suggestions. I am pretty sure without this ticket kept open the suggestions will be lost soon again.
