Sorry, this ticket was bitrotting too long :-(

Do these mirrors still contain broken files?

I have just downloaded the ISO from http://mirror.rackspace.co.uk/ - checksum is 8576e84822cdbe566bf551e28a169fc028229831eba9f07a4c1f84302c5ddb09
This corresponds to checksum from http://download.opensuse.org 8576e84822cdbe566bf551e28a169fc028229831eba9f07a4c1f84302c5ddb09

From http://anorien.csc.warwick.ac.uk - checksum is 8576e84822cdbe566bf551e28a169fc028229831eba9f07a4c1f84302c5ddb09
From http://mirror.ox.ac.uk - checksum is d6e0bbc91611932f76d13d4e6ed8b02c423ced969fbd00d432acd0a33e2b096e

Weird.

The mirror just needs updating at Oxford Uni. I believe the checksum is
for the RC iso and then obviously never updated after that. Maybe they
only rsync by name or something.

There's a contact address on their website http://mirror.ox.ac.uk/ -
maybe worth asking if they're rsyncing against date too.

Hi,

I have checked the mirror via our scanner and beside two directories 13.1 and iso looks all fine
ox.ac.uk: bad mode rwxr-x--x, skipping directory 13.1
ox.ac.uk: bad mode rwxr-x--x, skipping directory iso

unfortunately is not clear what iso dir it is.

Hi,

yes there is a trouble with sums for ISO files.
I removed (temporally) the mirror from active duty.
I wrote an email to admin of the server to check all data on it.

The mirror will be enable when data on it are fine and sums fit.

Until then please use other mirror:
see the full list here: http://mirrors.opensuse.org/
