Description

Observation

Hello team,

seems like this test is expecting that some additional packages need to be selected if grub2 is unselected. However that seems not to be the case.
Is this still relevant test? Do we perhaps pull it as part of some pattern nowadays?

openQA test in scenario opensuse-15.3-DVD-aarch64-package-dependency@aarch64 fails in
select_packages

Test suite description

More packages are installed and removed (starting with - ) for sake of matter. Installation get blocked by removed grub2 package, packages in INSTALLATION_BLOCKED will be selected back to resolve conflict and continue with installation https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/9476
ggardet_arm: aarch64 must use grub2-arm64-efi instead of grub2. Done in TW/Leap 15.2 template - https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/63805

Reproducible

Fails since (at least) Build 90.1

Expected result

Last good: 85.2 (or more recent)

Further details

Always latest result in this scenario: latest

@tjyrinki_suse it feels like this ticket should belong to either qe-core or qe-yast. Also, tests/installation/select_packages.pm mentions "Maintainer: Sergio Lindo Mansilla slindomansilla@suse.com" and qe-core inherits the work from them, right? so assigning qe-core which you can change of course again after finding a different maintainer.
