closedcoordination #89476: Develop logging to the libyui REST API tests
Add timestamps to the screenshots being shown in openQA
0%
Description
In order to simplify investigations, would be helpful if all screenshots in openQA would have timestamps being visible, so can be easily matched to the entries in the log files.

Yes, it would indeed be very useful, so far it is very complicated to relate logs from autoinst-log.txt to respective screenshots and that hinders debugging of not just YaST but basically any openqa based tests (e.g. SUMA testing).
So far one has to resolve to workarounds like occasionally printing 'date' command in the screenshots when needed which is not very convenient or clean.
There is already some timestamp data in the /var/lib/openqa/testresults/....../details-.json files in the 'frametime' key, but it is not clear how it exactly relates to the timestamp in the autoinst-log.txt and other log files, and is not shown anywhere in gui.
The timestamp could be computed from this and be shown in e.g. the header of the details window which is shown when the screenshot is clicked on, either as a time when screenshot started or maybe time range in which the screenshot occured.

Is this ticket really supposed to be in the qe-yam project?
