I would summarize discussion in qa-sle-yast (not yet closed):

• Improve on the stability of the test, there are some sporadic problems with needles and changing the order to fill in the screen affect the test.
• ldap configuration seems fine, can be query without issues.
• samba modules closes with non-cero ret code. We will need to provide more info in the bug depending on William Brown's answer. Service smb and nmb requires restart and after that the looks ok.
• In order to probe the integration of ldap with samba there is some commands we can run to see that something is written in ldap when add password for samba users. To be confirmed by Willian as well that those actions makes sense.

Branch of code that I used to test it: yast2_samba

I would suggest to separate the scenario in at least 3 modules, (1) ldap (+ validation) (2) samba (+ validation) (3) validation integration ldap+samba.
