Observation¶

https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1255646#step/yast2_firstboot/7 4 months ago we had this option enabled by default, so we unchecked it.

In the latest runs it is disabled by default: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1373521#step/yast2_firstboot/7
So in case of openSUSE we don't need to do anything.

Original issue got fixed, as we though, whereas, other difference is that no autologin is disabled, so test fails there.

I've tried to fix it with NOAUTOLOGIN=1 in the test suite, which doesn't help as in case of https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1383025# we also expect no auto login in the image we boot to originally. Works for autoyast case: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1383063#details

So easiest way will be to enable this setting.

Test suite description¶

Smoke test for YaST2 Firstboot module, basically same as yast2_firstboot test suite. Test pre-defined autoyast profile, which enables YaST2 Firstboot during system deployment. SUT should boot to YaST2 Firstboot wizard after reboot. Test goes through all Firstboot tabs, configure root and user accounts. SUT should end up in GDM screen after exiting YaST2 Firstboot.
