[opensuse] "kde-wayland" does not run wayland in console tests

Observation

openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-kde-wayland@64bit_virtio in
x_vt
shows that normal "X" is running and not wayland. There also seems to be no switch to Wayland on login.

Test suite description

Basic KDE installation, but switches to a Wayland session on login. Needs Virtio (or similiar) GPU.

Reproducible

This seems to be reproducible every time and most likely a regression uncaught for potentially a longer time.

Any update here? I can see that x_yt was removed from the gnome testcase? Is that ticket still valid?

The start_wayland_plasma5 module is part of the test and seems to be working as expected, but it is scheduled after the console tests, including x_vt. It might be possible to move it to an earlier point in the schedule.
