Sometime, the pause button does not seem to be clicked properly.

Test suite description

Basic KDE installation, but switches to a Wayland session on login. Needs Virtio (or similiar) GPU.

This seems to happen much more often with Plasma 5.19 for some reason and is definitely load related.
It might be enough to move the cursor to the pause button, wait a second and then click.
