Observation¶
openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-gnome@64bit fails in
chromium
to reach the adress bar.
Suggestion¶
- Try to assert_screen of the selected address bar. When the address bar is selected, the whole URL is shown, including the protocol, so matching only the
://part should work for all cases. - If it doesn't work, put the ticket status to
new.
Reproducible¶
Happened at least once before, see https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1169575#next_previous
Expected result¶
https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse/pull/5784 was not only bumping a timeout but also changing "about:" to "chrome://version" with no proper reasoning provided. Could be that this helps already but here we might have a problem that the adress bar is not focussed or not reactive.
