Observation¶

openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-upgrade_Leap_15.0_cryptlvm@uefi fails in
orphaned_packages_check

The failure only happens when upgrading using the DVD, where we have a limited set of packages available. Perfomring a DVD/Offline upgrade naturally cannot update all potential package candidates a user might have had installed. A subsequent 'zypper dup' is nescessary to ensure all packages available in the repo are up-to-date

(and a side-note: would be nice if the test would report the packages it detected as orphanied. Neither the screenshots seem to show it nor is /tmp/opphaned.log being uploaded as part of the collecting log file task - I somehwat remember in the past the list was visible?!)
