Description

Observation

openQA test in scenario sle-12-SP4-Server-DVD-aarch64-RAID10@aarch64 fails in
bootloader_uefi
Interestingly in the Video (https://openqa.suse.de/tests/1706685/file/video.ogv#t=1.42,1.46) Grub can be seen at the very end.
Is openQA reacting too slow?

Tasks:

  • Find out whats going on
  • either fix this or create a bug

Acceptance Criteria

AC1: Find root cause
AC2: Fix test or workaround it with proper bugref

Reproducible

Fails since (at least) Build 0246 (current job)

Expected result

Last good: 0245 (or more recent)
Should get past the boot at least

Further details

Always latest result in this scenario: latest

This is an autogenerated message for openQA integration by the openqa_review script:

This bug is still referenced in a failing openQA test: RAID10

@jorauch little hint for correct markdown formatting in redmine: If you want to create a list with the * entries separate the list from the header with a blank line or make the header a title.

wrong:

header
* entry1
* entry2

works fine:

### header
* entry1
* entry2

also ok:

header

* entry1
* entry2

Latest job https://openqa.suse.de/tests/1748742 was fine again. To be monitored. Who wants to track it, schedule some more jobs for statistics and check?

This is most likely a worker issue where the firmware takes too long to load grub. Except increasing the timeout we cannot do much here
