Observation¶
openQA test in scenario sle-15-Installer-DVD-x86_64-textmode@svirt-hyperv fails in
consoletest_setup
It seems that is taking the welcome message as a correct needle for root console, so it is trying to type "root" while is changing to tty6, so we need to remove text-login-20180315 and ensure root console is reached.

Fails since (at least) Build 530.1 (current job)

Last good: 527.1 (or more recent)

Error has to be located in susedistribution -> activate_console
We have to be careful here not to break other tests, I suggest putting the difficulty up because this is not trivial anymore

General issue is that text login matches too easy and therefore on wrong tty
We have to reduce the priority of text_login so it looks first for ttyX selected or dont check for this at all

Those basically allow to pass a "ensure_tty" parameter
