Description

Motivation

See parent ticket. 100G is not enough to cover kernel tests as well which were recently added. As we want to keep them we should increase the storage.

Hi sebchlad, maybe you can help to motivate with some sponsoring ;)

with current situation on s390 I doubt it make any sense to talk about "sponsoring". Any suggestions?
I'm setting this to blocked for now.

"blocked" by what exactly? did you mean the mainframe outage? I recommend to use "blocked" only with a reference to any external location where the blocking issue is tracked, e.g. a bug in bugzilla, another ticket, SUSE-IT ticket ref., fate, etc. The s390x mainframe infrastructure is up again to my understanding so if that was the blocking issue - it's gone :)

After my conversation with Ihno (on Friday 23rd of Feb) it turned out that helping with purchasing some additional storage is nothing what we can easily do as the department. I did not follow up after that. I bet there is something what we could do but I doubt it is easy from organizational point of view.

Oli, back to you if you have any other good suggestions ideas.

I don't understand why we can not find a way to extend the 100G. I bet talking to the right people will make it easy. Maybe I will talk to Ihno together with mgriessmeier and we can all understand the issue better.

disks and partitions have been resized (100G -> 200G) which should solve this issue, for both LPARS (s390p8 and s390pb)
