Well, to me it seems like "libc.so." *did match but what I see though is that the "wait_serial" comparison in https://openqa.suse.de/tests/1281887#step/glibc_i686/5 is looking for Configured\\ for\\ i686\\-suse\\-linux\\. but the output only shows Configured for 686-suse-linux. so a missing character "i". The followup job looks fine again: https://openqa.suse.de/tests/1283402#step/glibc_i686/4
I assume this is a "svirt-hyperv-uefi" specific problem of lost content on the serial port. That could be #26014 or #26094.

After we have a new, more powerful and much more stable hyperv testing host I assume this ticket does not apply anymore, any new observations should be reported explicitly either by reopening or opening a new issue.
