Observation¶
openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-GNOME-Live-x86_64-gnome-live@64bit fails in
reboot_gnome to show the logout dialog.
Reproducible¶
Fails since Build 20170210 consistently
Expected result¶
Last good: 20170209
Suggestions¶
crosscheck manually.
Would be nice to fix this as this is currently the only job failing on Tumbleweed tests :-)

can someone read out from the job logs why the dialog does not show up?
if only I knew for sure - what seems to be happening though is that the 'mediakey' plugin for gnome-settings-daemon somehow crashes / disappears.
The GNOME Next media reboots as expected - I suggest to 'wait it out' for GNOME 3.24.0 to hit us end of March to see if it just resolves this issue too

While I did digg a bit in log files, it seemed like the mediakey plugin is either not properly being loaded or crashing - causing ctrl-alt-del no longer to be interpreted

I guess it's an already reported product issue which is not very likely to happen on openSUSE but more likely to hit SLE tests, maybe depending on our test setup. I will update the progress ticket and bug accordingly and close the progress issue. The product bug is bsc#1000599
