[epic] Migration out of SUSE NUE1 - QE setup in NUE3
100%
Description
Motivation¶
SUSE is deprecating NUE1 (Maxtorhof) and setting up replacement data centers. Primary location for production services will be PRG2 "Prg CoLo", see #121720. Additionally a new datacenter is planned as fail-over location
Acceptance criteria¶
- AC1: NUE1 (Maxtorhof) is not relied upon by SUSE QE Tools anymore
- AC2: Relevant SUSE QE Tools services are provided out of NUE3

Since the serverrooms need to be disassembled until end of 2023 I recommend planning to get machines out until end of October/begin November....

(Oliver Kurz) @Jason Hill @John Ford As follow-up to the DCT weekly project progress meeting in particular regarding "Move to NUE3 (Marienberg)" from https://netbox.suse.de/dcim/devices/?tag=qe-lsg&tag=move-to-marienberg-dr there are as of now 22 devices needing to be moved to NUE3. Please advise 1. what is expected from LSG-QE, 2. until when and 3. If LSG-QE is needed to disassemble machines, how to get access to NUE1-SRV1? . If I don't hear any update or task assignment to us then I will be optimistic and assume that someone takes care of all those points and eventually the hardware reaches NUE3
