sssd is not present in x86_64 for no apparent reason. but the root cause of this is package hub not being available in SP6 yet.

I want to improve the is_phub_ready functions to explicitly mark the tests as pending when package hub is not there yet.

is the code provided by Samuel working on older service packs?

I ran it on 15.5 and worked, 15.6 fails

Correcting myself:

openldap2 is deprecated as per leap security guide

https://doc.opensuse.org/documentation/leap/security/html/book-security/cha-security-ldap.html#sec-security-ldap-migrate

389-ds is being tested in:

  • tests/security/389ds/tls_389ds_sssd_client.pm
  • tests/security/389ds/tls_389ds_server.pm
  • tests/console/389ds/tls_389ds_sssd_client.pm
  • tests/console/389ds/tls_389ds_server.pm
  • tests/console/sssd_389ds_functional.pm
  • tests/migration/openldap_to_389ds.pm

I guess then it makes sense to remove the sssd test from TW and keep the suggested changes in the boo ticket ( https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse/pull/16176 ) in the test module ( so SP2 and Leap <= 15.6 works again?

os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse#16176 was merged, waiting for a successful test run.

os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse#18037 is in place to avoid scheduling openldap2 for >= SLE15.4 as per deprecation notices
