action #119929
open[qe-core][leap-on-osd] use pre-installed systems with updates
0%
Description
Observation¶
openQA test in scenario opensuse-15.3-Leap-DVD-Incidents-x86_64-gnome@64bit fails in
setup_online_repos
other tests fail in await_install like https://openqa.suse.de/tests/9870795#step/await_install/69
because the download from download.opensuse.org can be slow. Instead of relying on potential external mirroring infrastructure I recommend to use a SUSE local mirror. Even better would be to not reconduct a GUI based installation from scratch and then install all updates but only add to an already installed system what is necessary as diff regarding pending SLE updates
Reproducible¶
The problem seems to reproduce since roughly 2022-12-03 16:00Z
Expected result¶
Last good: https://openqa.suse.de/tests/9865120 from 2022-12-03
Further details¶
Always latest result in this scenario: latest

We can eventually follow up here the same pattern we have for SLE Incidents (pre-generated image)

Oliver, as for local Mirrors, do you know one that can be used?

maybe http://download.suse.de/install/ but I think Bernhard Wiedemann mentioned another URL for openSUSE content that is more local
