Description
We are now starting to have users 'consume' the public assets created by openQA
It would be nice to have a public page people could go to to see all publicly available assets
They probably should be organised by the Job Group which created them, and show their creation date
This is wanted by Eric and the SLEnkins guys, as well as YaST and other teams who will want to test based on openQA validated images
interestingly enough we don't even store if an asset is public or not
Thinking about it, we could dump a list of file names with links - but the question is then if this will be really useful. It would lack all context.
E.g.
kde-uefi.qcow2 is generated by 'openSUSE Tumbleweed'
weijang.qcow2 is generated by 'SLE 12 Desktop'
So I wonder if your user story isn't better served by a manually maintained list with static links to these assets and a description to it. Right now you
can't link to an asset to download.
The manually uploaded assets can be just as useful to the yast guys BTW. There are quite some useful scenarios created.
- Priority changed from Normal to High
- Priority changed from High to Normal
Let's be honest with ourselves
- Subject changed from Public Asset List to [tools]Public Asset List
- Subject changed from [tools]Public Asset List to Public Asset List
- Status changed from New to Rejected
Not enough interest to keep a manually maintained list - and not useful as automated list
